Achilles Heat is excited to be joining Pig Island NYC for the first time! Find us in Hot Sauce Alley, where we’ll be sampling our award-winning Smoked Chili Crisp and our full lineup of handcrafted smoked hot sauces, all proudly made in NYC.
Now celebrating its 17th year, Pig Island NYC is one of New York’s signature BBQ festivals, bringing together more than 20 farms, chefs, pitmasters, restaurants, beverage producers, and artisan food makers for an afternoon of unlimited tastings in the beautiful surroundings of Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden.
Known for its whole-hog approach to barbecue, Pig Island showcases regional BBQ traditions from across the country and Puerto Rico, featuring everything from Carolina wood-smoked barbecue and Caribbean flavors to Portuguese traditions, New York smokehouses, and heritage-breed pork prepared by some of the nation’s most respected chefs.
